We’re working with a pioneering aerospace company building cutting-edge communication systems for satellites, UAVs, and airborne platforms. As they expand their dynamic, cross-functional engineering teams, they’re hiring a Principal Satellite Electrical Power Subsystem Engineer II to lead the EPS design and integration across next-gen satellite programs.
💡 What You’ll Do
- Lead EPS architecture, design, analysis, and integration
- Define power budgets, perform trade studies, and optimize SWaPC
- Oversee testing of solar arrays, batteries, PCUs, and power distribution hardware
- Drive innovation in energy storage and power conditioning for space
- Guide HIL testing and support environmental & launch preparation
- Mentor and lead junior EPS engineers across multidisciplinary teams
🔧 You’ll Bring
- 9 years in satellite EPS design with strong leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of batteries, BMS, solar arrays, DC-DC converters, and power management
- Simulation expertise (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, SIMPLIS)
- Familiarity with ECSS/NASA satellite power standards
- U.S. Citizenship (and ability to obtain/maintain clearance, if needed)
