Evona seeks a Director of GNC Hardware & Test to lead the development of critical systems for human-rated space stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineers in developing procedures for confidence, acceptance, and qualification tests of GNC components.
- Ensure timely coordination with relevant groups for environmental test levels, test harnessing, and ground support equipment.
- Maintain adherence to industry standards during test readiness reviews.
- Oversee end-to-end GNC testing during vehicle integration and at payload processing facilities.
- Manage GNC test schedules.
- Develop high-fidelity GNC flight dynamics simulations and data management systems for Monte-Carlo simulations.
- Collaborate with flight software test teams to meet industry standards for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of engineering experience in the space industry.
Preferred Skills
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in computer applications and various software programs.
- Ability to create and update proposals, purchase orders, and facilities work orders in ERP software.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Independent judgment-making ability with limited information.
- Effective communication skills for relaying data between employees, vendors, and customers.

- Ability to read basic floor plans.
