A fast-growing aerospace communications company is seeking a Calibration Engineer to support the calibration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of precision test equipment used to develop next-generation spacecraft and satellite systems.
This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure test equipment accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Key Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Metrology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of calibration, metrology, or test equipment experience
- Experience calibrating electronic and mechanical test equipment
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, or similar standards
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, or network/spectrum analyzers
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace, defense, or space industry
- Calibration management systems (MET/CAL, GageTrak, IndySoft, etc.)
- Measurement uncertainty and calibration procedure development
- Python, LabVIEW, or test automation
