About Evolved Lighting & Energy

Evolved Lighting & Energy is a fast-growing electrical contracting company specializing in lighting retrofits, lighting controls, low-voltage energy upgrades, and EV charger installations.

We modernize facilities through smarter, more efficient electrical systems — and we do it with a team grounded in our values:

Quality, Inner Fire, Collaboration, Versatility, and Positive Charge.

We are looking for a Project Foreman who has deep installation expertise, strong leadership instincts, and a passion for developing the next generation of electricians and crew leads. This role is central to the success of our field operations.

The Role

As a Project Foreman, you will lead 2–3 Crew Leads and their field teams across commercial lighting, controls, and energy retrofit projects.

You will be responsible for jobsite setup, training and developing apprentices and electricians, enforcing safety, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to Evolved LE’s standards of craftsmanship.

This position is hands-on, leadership-heavy, and critical to our field structure. You will be the on-site driver of safety, quality, productivity, and communication.

What You’ll Do

Jobsite Setup & Execution

  • Set up and prepare job sites, review drawings, and plan work sequences

  • Coordinate lifts, trailers, materials, tooling, carts, and equipment

  • Establish safety zones, signage, staging layouts, and organizational systems

  • Conduct kickoff meetings with crew leads and installers

  • Maintain accurate field documentation

Field Training & Crew Development

  • Train apprentices and electricians in correct installation practices

  • Demonstrate code-compliant wiring, retrofits, sensor installation, and control hardware

  • Coach crew members daily and reinforce productivity benchmarks

  • Help identify and develop future Crew Leads and high-potential apprentices

  • Promote cross-training and skill-building across crews

Safety Enforcement

  • Lead daily safety meetings and toolbox talks

  • Enforce PPE, Lockout/Tagout, JSA completion, and hazard mitigation

  • Correct unsafe behaviors immediately

  • Report incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly

  • Ensure NEC, OSHA, and internal safety standards are followed

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for Project Managers and Field Managers

  • Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, inspectors, and building personnel

  • Provide daily updates on progress, manpower needs, issues, and material requirements

  • Escalate challenges quickly with proposed solutions

  • Maintain strong documentation habits

Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead crews with professional presence and consistency

  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable

  • Resolve on-site personnel issues and maintain team morale

  • Uphold and model Evolved LE’s core values

  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and complete final quality checks

Who You Are

  • A hands-on expert in commercial electrical work with strong leadership instincts

  • Confident managing multiple crews and teaching installation methods

  • Organized, proactive, and motivated to keep jobs safe, clean, and on schedule

  • A problem-solver who stays composed and solution-oriented under pressure

  • Someone who sets the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and quality every day

  • You are responsive and dependable — if a crew leader, PM, or executive reaches out after hours with an urgent issue, you return the call or text within 30 minutes unless you are on PTO or a scheduled holiday.

You lead from the front. You teach. You hold a high standard. You represent Evolved LE in how you work and how you treat people.

Qualifications
