Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience or knowledge in internal medicine, pediatrics, or occupational health is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and the ability to perform procedures such as phlebotomy or ventilating patients when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
