Evolve HR Solutions is partnering with a growing transportation services organization seeking a Fleet Manager to lead the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of a large-scale fleet operation based in Lenexa, Kansas.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing operations, vendor management, maintenance strategy, analytics, and team leadership. You'll oversee a fleet of approximately 2,000 passenger vehicles supporting critical transportation services across North America while leading a team responsible for keeping the fleet safe, compliant, and available for daily operations.
What You'll Be Responsible For
• Leading a team of fleet professionals supporting vehicle deployment, maintenance, compliance, and performance
• Managing relationships with external fleet management and maintenance partners
• Driving vehicle availability, reliability, safety, and cost performance across a nationwide fleet
• Overseeing vehicle acquisition, deployment, branding, and disposition activities
• Developing proactive maintenance and asset management strategies
• Using analytics and operational data to improve fleet performance and decision making
• Building strong partnerships with internal operations teams, manufacturers, service providers, and key vendors
What We're Looking For
• Experience managing fleet operations, transportation assets, or vehicle maintenance programs
• Leadership experience overseeing teams and external service providers
• Strong operational and business acumen with a customer-focused mindset
• Experience working with fleet management systems, maintenance programs, and performance metrics
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
