Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and supervision to clients in the milieu
- Provide one-to-one support for clients and addresses areas where they need support with individual problems
- Maintain vigilance and awareness of the peer community dynamic while monitoring the behavior, activities and safety of the clients
- Conduct and facilitate psychoeducation groups and recreational activities
- Crisis Management and intervention when necessary
- Responsible for client shift notes and group note documentation
- Facilitate urinalysis testing for clients
- Establish a constructive therapeutic community in accordance with Treatment Center policies
- Must be at least 21 years old or older
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Possess good personal and professional boundaries appropriate for a treatment setting
- Able to remain calm in a crisis situation for the safety of our clients
- Able to be fully attentive at all times for client’s safety
- BA degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Some prior experience working in a mental health setting
- Previous crisis management experience
- Previous experience working with teens
- This position pays $21/hr
- Hours: Must have flexibility during the hours of 9am - 7:00pm Monday - Thursday (8 hours a day), Friday 9 am - 5 pm
- This is a full-time, onsite position
