Part time Weekend LVN

At Evolve Treatment Centers, we offer a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with compassionate care in a supportive, team-based environment. With 5 programs in the San Fernando Valley, we provide short term residential treatment for teens struggling with mental health and substance use challenges.

We are looking for a part-time LVN/LPT to join our team as a weekend nurse to work Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-8:30pm. If interested, there is an opportunity to work 3 out of 4 weekends a month to allow for one weekend off a month.

This is an opportunity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and gain experience working with teens with acute mental health and substance abuse issues. Many of our past nurses have found that this experience was helpful in pursuing an RN degree. The starting pay rate for this role is $33-37/hr.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide first aid and nursing care as needed
• Refill prescriptions, transport clients for labwork or to urgent care as needed via company vehicle
• Complete and record daily vitals and weekly weight
• Prepare and administer medication daily; do medical inventory as needed
• Handle health emergencies appropriately
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid California LVN/LPT license
• A self-starter with the ability to multi-task and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
• Have a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid DL as ability to transport clients in a company vehicle is required
• Able to clear a CA Live Scan background check
