Art Therapist

Job Summary:This position entails leading 90-minute art therapy sessions at for up to 6 teens once per week at our PHP/IOP facility in San Jose, CA. Our ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, knows how to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, and is excited about working with teens with mental health and substance abuse issues. We are looking for someone who is a team player, who is dedicated, patient, compassionate and has experience leading groups of teens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and conduct weekly 90-minute art therapy groups for adolescents ages 12-17
• Complete documentation for groups facilitated within 24 hours of group being finished
• Travel to the RTC locations to conduct sessions

This is a contract position.

Pay Range:

• $150/session budget for supplies

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed therapist (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW) with an active certification in Art Therapy
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Experience working with adolescents (ages 12-17) preferred
• Ability to collaborate well with others in team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work or volunteer experience with teens or working in a group home (teens or adults)
