Job Title: Part-Time Commercial Office Cleaner (Evening Shift)
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Schedule: Monday–Friday, evening hours starting after 2:00 PM
Employment Type: Part-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and professional office environment. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks during evening hours to ensure the facility is well-maintained for the next business day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Move all waste to outdoor receptacles
- Dust and wipe down desks, surfaces, and common areas
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard floors daily
- Clean breakroom, including countertops, sinks, and appliances
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, etc
- Weekly deep cleaning (remove any cobwebs, dust from walls, etc)
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Secure the building as required at the end of shift
- Update management weekly of supply stock
- All other cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable with consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, stooping, lifting, and walking for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Office setting with routine exposure to cleaning products and equipment
- Evening hours-Maximum 25 Hours Weekly
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures
