POSITION SUMMARY: Quality Engineers serve as technical owners of equipment- and process-specific quality performance within the organization. Each Quality Engineer is assigned to critical focus areas within our suite of Mechanical and Electrical systems (e.g., Pumps, Blenders, Power Systems, Electrical, Supply Chain, Maintenance, or Manufacturing) and is responsible for driving reliability, consistency, and improvement across that domain. This role ensures that root cause investigations lead to systemic solutions, not repeated failures — and that quality is built into our systems from design to deployment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Serves as functional subject matter expert for assigned equipment/process category (e.g., Pumps, Electrical, etc.).
- Leads technical root cause analysis (RCA) and defines corrective/preventive actions via the QMS (Quality Management System).
- Develops and maintains Best Practices (BPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for assigned category.
- Partners with Operations, Asset Integrity, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering on quality-related initiatives.
- Implement quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and risk assessments to reduce the recurrence of failures.
- Monitors adherence, trends, and systemic quality KPIs using audit and incident data from the QMS.
- Supports QMS development through documentation hierarchy and alignment with QMS integration.
- Provides technical support to Quality Representatives and field teams to clarify expectations and coach on quality execution.
- Participates in Governance Council reviews to represent technical findings, trends, and system improvement opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support quality system development and operational continuity.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Employment is contingent upon meeting the company's driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Applied Science, or related technical field. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Minimum of 3 years in reliability, quality, or process improvement role, preferably in oilfield services or manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:
- Deep technical knowledge of assigned systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, fluid power, or process equipment).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause and risk-based tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital QMS tools, and equipment data platforms.
- Experience developing or implementing SOPs, BPs, and inspection criteria.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Asset Integrity, Manufacturing, and Engineering stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a structured, systems-level mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and frontline audiences.

The Quality Systems Engineer must be able to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel. The Quality Systems Engineer works primarily indoors and will be seated at a desk for prolonged periods while typing on a computer, whether in a home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. When required to go to a wellsite, their work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB, and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, they may be required to wear company-mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire-retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and impact gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. Quality Systems Engineers must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
