Evolution Payroll Services, located in West Chester, PA, is looking to hire a bright and motivated full-time employee as a Payroll Specialist to join our team servicing clients on our Evolution software platform. Our company provides payroll, tax filing, time and attendance and other payroll related services to businesses from 1 to 1000 employees.

Candidates must have experience working with payroll software and have an understanding of how payroll earnings, taxes and deductions are calculated as well as the ability to manage programs and files on a Windows based computer to work as efficiently as possible.
Position Summary
The Payroll Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to clients and internal teams by answering phone calls and emails, resolving payroll-related inquiries, and ensuring that all payrolls are processed accurately and on schedule. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to client phone calls and emails regarding payroll questions, issues, and requests.
- Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately and completed within established deadlines.
- Verify employee data, time records, and deductions to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address complex payroll issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and resolutions.
- Provide guidance to clients on payroll policies, procedures, and system usage.
- Assist with audits and reporting as required.
- Assist with payroll wrap up and delivery as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.

Compensation:
Determined by skills and experience, in the range of $45k - $60k per year. Includes salary, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, medical and dental insurance and opportunity for bonus.
