Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.
- Perform routine quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance across all processes.
- Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess dimensional accuracy and product consistency.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for process enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including FDA regulations, HACCP standards, and CGMP guidelines during manufacturing and quality control activities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems by documenting inspection results and non-conformance reports.
- Participate in root cause analysis for defects or deviations, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing for external audits by maintaining accurate records of quality inspections and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and elevating product quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving medical devices or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and related standards.
- Proficiency with calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision measurement instruments.
- Experience conducting quality audits and data collection for analysis purposes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
- Knowledge of quality management principles and systems integration within manufacturing processes.
