Role Description
This is a Perdiem on-site role for a Licensed Vocational Nurse based in Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura and San Bernardino, CA. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, executing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Additional tasks include administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and educating patients and families about proper care techniques and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Competence in patient care execution, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
- Skill in clinical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and communicate with patients and families
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of California
- CPR certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
- Previous experience in home health care or related fields preferred
