Duties
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on sourcing high-quality materials and services efficiently.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, including requisitioning, purchase order creation, and contract management.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research and root cause analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and production planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials while adhering to quality management standards.
- Monitor supplier performance through supplier management programs, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and continuous improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and sourcing documentation in accordance with federal acquisition regulations when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement management and materials planning.
- Strong contract negotiation skills with the ability to develop mutually beneficial agreements.
- Expertise in supply chain management, including logistics, inventory control, and category management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management principles.
- Familiarity with procurement best practices such as sourcing strategies, pricing analysis, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify issues within the supply chain or procurement processes.
