About Us
Evolution Design Lab is the company behind Jellypop and Jellypop Kids, women's and kids' footwear brands known for comfortable, trend-driven designs at accessible price points. Our products are carried by major national retailers including JCPenney, Belk, and Famous Footwear.
We pair deep wholesale expertise with proprietary technology platforms that manage the complete product lifecycle, from design through distribution. Our team is collaborative, curious, and always looking for a better way to do things. We work across design, product development, and sales to bring the right shoe to market at the right time.
The Role
We're hiring a National Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our existing retail partners while identifying opportunities to expand into new accounts. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with company leadership, presenting product, analyzing performance, and shaping the sell-in strategy for our brands. You'll split your time between remote work and travel (~25–30%) to retail partners on the east and west coasts for line reviews, market appointments, and relationship-building. We're especially interested in candidates coming from the retail buying side who want to bring their merchant instincts to the brand/vendor side. Strong candidates will have experience analyzing assortments, building OTB plans, and managing vendor relationships from the retail buying side.

- Manage and grow existing national retail accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for buyers and planning teams
- Present seasonal collections at line reviews and market appointments, translating trend insights into compelling product stories
- Analyze post-season sell-through data, identify markdown risks and opportunities, and build data-driven recaps that strengthen future buys
- Trend-shop the market and online landscape to identify new product and design opportunities, and bring those insights back to our design team
- Maintain pricing, inventory, and program summary spreadsheets
- Work collaboratively with a highly talented design and product development team to align assortments with retailer needs
- Research new account opportunities and develop strategies to grow our retail footprint
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience working with mid-tier and off-price retail accounts in wholesale apparel, accessories, or footwear (3 years considered for exceptional candidates from the retail buying side)
- Deep understanding of retail math including markup, margin, markdown cadence, turn, OTB, and allowance structures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build pivot tables, model markdown scenarios, and interpret sell-through reports to drive decisions
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with ERP systems
- A sharp eye for women's footwear trends and consumer taste, both in-store and online
- The ability to research trends in the marketplace and translate them into new product concepts
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the kind of person buyers enjoy working with
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your time and priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for research, analysis, and workflow acceleration, highly preferred
- Growth mindset toward emerging tools and technologies. You stay current and adapt quickly.
