About Our Practice:
We are a boutique dermatology practice offering a full range of medical dermatology and aesthetic services. Our practice is built around a patient-centric, wellness-focused approach to care, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a warm, professional, and collaborative work environment.
We are growing and seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to join our team. As Practice Administrator, you would be responsible for overseeing daily operations, financial management, personnel management and ensuring a smooth, elevated patient experience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, high-performing team and is confident in managing people and finances with professionalism and accountability. This is a leadership role requiring maturity, emotional intelligence, and strong organizational ability.
Position Overview
Responsibilities:
- Managing daily operations while developing, analyzing and implementing budgets and financial goals.
- Participating in staff selection, training, performance reviews, accountability and disciplinary actions.
- Overseeing HR and ensuring effective administration of compensation, benefits, job descriptions, personnel policies and payroll practices.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, including government regulation with HIPAA, OSHA, and other entities as required by law.
- Coaching and coordinating with staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.
- Optimizing provider schedules and reducing inefficiencies.
- Organizing marketing events and seasonal initiatives.
- Supporting growth of the practice by developing and implementing long-range plans.
- Assisting the CEO in planning, leading and directing the rest of the organization.
- Maintaining the strictest of confidentiality.
Qualifications (Experience Required):
- Minimum 4 years experience managing a healthcare team.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on healthcare administration, business or related fields.
Skills:
- Skilled at coaching while inspiring confidence and motivation.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Skilled at planning, delegating, supervising, addressing performance issues, and maintaining boundaries with team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Skilled in collecting and interpreting data, analyzing situations accurately and taking appropriate action.
- Ability to competently use Microsoft Office (including Excel), Google Docs, Google Sheets and appropriate practice management software.
- Marketing experience and skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred (dermatology or aesthetics a plus)
Compensation & Benefits
$60,000 – $80,000 base salary (based on experience and credentials)
- Quarterly bonus opportunities ($1500-2500) based on defined benchmarks
- 4% 401(k) match
