Evolution Dance Studio is seeking an organized, energetic, and people-oriented Studio Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure class quality, and help grow our dance community. This role combines studio management, marketing, and community engagement — perfect for someone who loves dance, structure, and creating positive energy in the studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily studio operations and be present during classes.
• Ensure students sign in and classes run smoothly.
• Ensure all students are properly signed in for classes and attendance is accurately tracked.
• Make sure instructors follow the EDS Dance Blueprint and teach choreography appropriate to each level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
• Record and capture class videos for promos and social media.
• Promote EDS through passing out flyers and local marketing.
• Provide feedback and guidance to instructors as needed to maintain consistency and excellence across all classes.
• Research and identify local dance events, showcases, and community performances in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area for EDS to attend or perform at.
• Ensure instructors keep students on beat and on count during classes.
• Make follow-up calls to potential leads and clients who have expressed interest in EDS classes or events.
• Seek out new opportunities for collaborations, sponsorships, and creative partnerships that align with EDS’s mission.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and represent EDS with excellence.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive, people-first attitude; must work well with both students and instructors.
• Basic marketing or promotions experience preferred.
• Dance background or experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
