Vice President of Structuring

Evolution Credit Partners, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with an office in New York, NY, manages approximately $4.3 billion across a range of synergistic alternative credit strategies. Evolution's credit platform provides bespoke financing solutions across the credit spectrum with a focus on leveraged finance and trade finance. 

Role Description: 

The Vice President of Structuring will be an integral member of the Firm’s investment team and will have key structuring responsibilities across multiple products. This person will be working daily with individuals across the Firm, with clients, law firms, rating agencies, custodians and other service providers to help identify, execute and manage transactions. 

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated professional with prior fixed income structuring experience. The candidate should have experience with financing transactions and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This individual will be able to contribute immediately to the Firm’s growing lending and investment capabilities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and support the structuring and execution of complex credit and financing transactions 
• Review and comment on deal documents 
• Prepare term sheets and trade summaries 
• Collaborate with investment, operations, and finance teams for overall execution, due diligence and post-closing transaction management 
• Maintain, run and update cash flow models used to evaluate investment opportunities and performance 
• Liaise with external law firms, custodians, rating agencies and other service providers  
• Contribute to the development of new financing products. 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. 
• Stay current on market trends and innovations within the structured products, working-capital and private-lending spaces 

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience; fixed income credit experience is strongly preferred 
• Prior structuring or repackaging experience; familiarity with SPIRE or a similar repackaging platform is a plus 
• Comfort and experience with loan, SPV, custodial and other legal documentation 
• Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills 
• Creative-thinking self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new assignments 
• Collaborative team player with the ability to operate independently when needed 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Excel modeling skills are a plus 
• Strong academic background  

Location: 4 days on-site (M-Th), 1 day remote (F)
