Mental Health Clinician — Secondary/Transition Program

Location: Arvada, CO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no nights, no weekends, no travel) Caseload: Serving students in Transition/Secondary Programs ages 12–21

Up to 7 Weeks Paid Time Off A Year: Paid Holidays (7 Days), Sick Leave (48 hours per year), PTO (40 hours per year) PLUS Paid Center Closures (5 weeks a year)!

Evoke Behavioral Health is a locally owned, BCBA-owned and operated organization licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services as a Day Treatment Facility. We provide specialized educational and therapeutic services to children and adolescents (Pre-K through 12th grade) with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and co-occurring diagnoses.

In 2025, we opened a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility in Arvada featuring two outdoor playgrounds, a full gym, and an advanced sensory room. Our interdisciplinary team includes BCBAs, Special Education Teachers, LCSWs, RBTs, and Mental Health Assistants. We keep caseloads small and clinical support on-site and in real time.

The Role

We're looking for a compassionate, skilled Mental Health Clinician to support individatuls ages 12–21 with complex behavioral needs in our day treatment school setting. You'll help students build social-emotional skills, strengthen peer and adult relationships, and access learning in a safe, supportive environment.

You'll work closely with our Mental Health Director (LCSW), mental health specialists and clinicians, special education teachers, behavior analysts, and speech/language pathologists to design and deliver individualized interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPCC
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• 3 years of clinical experience
• 1 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• DBT, ACT, and/or ABA experience preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass local, state, and federal background checks
• TB test and occupational physical (covered by Evoke)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to reliably commute to our Arvada facility
• Physical ability to run, kneel, pivot, lift 40 lbs, and transition repeatedly between seated, kneeling, and standing positions
