REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
The Warehouse Manager will be Responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations at Evogen Nutrition in our climate controlled 15,000 sqft warehouse. This individual will work with the team
ensuring company-wide inventory management, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment and storage operate smoothly and effectively day to day. This role is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of warehouse and 3PL functions as the quality of order replenishment and distribution processes at Evogen are key to the success of the organization. The candidate will ensure all orders are fulfilled while maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction and will be required to travel occasionally to Audit 3PL’s.
The right individual should be self-motivated, organized and able to effectively handle multiple tasks and objectives at once. To be successful, top candidates should possess strong excellent communication habits, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.
As required, this individual will also assist in other duties as assigned by management to support order fulfillment activities. Lastly, the individual will be responsible for adhering to the Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect for their respective role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Effectively planning, strategizing and oversight of daily warehouse ctivities to exceed the customer’s needs and maintain company KPIs.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities to support operations initiatives.
- Develop and foster efficient warehouse practices and procedures.
- Operate the warehouse environment in a safe and secure manner through appropriate training and oversight.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control through inventory, cycle counts and timely inventory reconciliation.
- Utilizing inventory management tools effectively to enable the successful tracking of inventory quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates with accuracy and timeliness.
- Effectively monitor and communicate the optimization of inventory levels, discrepancies in counts and how this will affect our customer base.
- Ability to root cause inventory discrepancies and report back to management.
Receiving and Storage:
- Coordinate and supervise incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verifying the accuracy and quality of orders.
- Effectively communicate with Logistics Coordinator for timely shipments.
- Accurately maintaining records of goods received and orders shipped.
- Implementing and following inventory management processes.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of order fulfillment.
- Prioritizing the resolution of order related issues with the customer service/sales teams.
- Understand and be able to negotiate shipping carrier rates.
- Work closely with customer service to resolve issues and create processes to prevent future issues
Management/Supervision and continuous improvement:
- Be a leader and have the skills to build a team of excellence through effective supervision, guidance and training.

- Have the ability to work as part of team in support of company product initiatives.
- Monitor, track and report the progress of assigned activities and tasks.
- Meets with upper management with regular cadence to provide project updates and institute departmental/organizational improvements.
- Oversee continuous training of staff with WMS, warehouse equipment, shipping programs
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Five or more years of business, operations, supply chain or warehouse management in a high paced environment managing 5-15 employees and temporary associates.
- Three years working within a warehouse management system (WMS); preferably Oracle NetSuite’s WMS.
- Ability to manage labor hours on a weekly basis.
- Experience in managing products with expiration dates and keeping FEFO rotation is necessary.
- Ability to work with, and communicate with, all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable with managing, prioritizing and delegating tasks with staff to meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented and great written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, performance-driven and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficient in Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) as well as other platforms to track orders and communicate with company.
- Basic mathematics knowledge for business use.
- Work with 3PLs and be able to effectively manage inventory at multiple locations.
- Goal-oriented- known for your integrity.
- Team player with ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and engaging.
