The Job

Our Bike Mechanics craft exceptional experiences for evo’s customers. These individuals maintain, repair, and build bikes for our customers.

The Opportunity

  • Assess and provide accurate repair quotes upon customer arrival.
  • Ensure all service shop tasks (tunes, assemblies, etc.) are completed properly and on-time, maintaining consistent and high-quality work standards.
  • Offer credible, unbiased advice during service check-ins and assist customers in selecting appropriate products.
  • Attend scheduled clinics and training sessions to continuously improve personal gear knowledge.
  • Order necessary parts to ensure seamless completion of repair jobs.
  • Assist customers on the sales floor, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop area.
  • Other duties as assigned


Duration

  • Mid April - Mid September (with the possibility to extend)


Scheduling Requirements

  • This is a seasonal position with weekend and holiday scheduling requirements. Weekend availability is required, as well as the ability to work during peak holiday periods, including the 4th of July weekend and Labor Day weekends. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays


Requirements

The Must Haves

  • No degree required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience required
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, communication, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, time management
  • Embodies, honors, and lives our core values: The Great 8


The Nice to Haves

  • Barnett or UBI Certification a plus
  • Foundational knowledge of suspension work, pivot, and bearing services

The base wage for this role ranges from $19.23/hr to $22.84/hr. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
