Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Holland, MI. This role requires someone who is confident presenting their ideas and working directly with clients. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The role also involves contributing to machine design, conducting research and development (R&D) activities, and managing projects to ensure adherence to timelines and standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve product designs will be key.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills is the most important qualification
- Strong proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience in Machine Design
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed technical drawings and models
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and timeline management
- Background in Research and Development (R&D), with a focus on innovative solutions and problem-solving
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus
