The Revenue Operations Analyst connects CRM data, go-to-market systems, and business processes to improve how revenue teams plan, execute, and measure performance. The role works across sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to maintain reliable data and reporting in a complex technology environment.
You will translate business requirements into scalable workflows, dashboards, and operational improvements. The work directly supports forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, territory planning, lead routing, and the quality of decisions made by revenue leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own data quality and process governance across Salesforce and connected revenue systems, including validation rules, field definitions, lifecycle stages, and deduplication
- Build and maintain recurring dashboards and reports in Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools to track pipeline, conversion, bookings, retention, and forecast performance
- Analyze funnel and revenue data using SQL and advanced spreadsheet modeling to identify leakage, operational bottlenecks, and reporting inconsistencies
- Translate stakeholder requirements into documented workflows, system enhancements, and scalable automation using tools such as Salesforce Flow, HubSpot, Outreach, or Gong
- Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to improve lead routing, account segmentation, opportunity management, forecasting, and handoff processes
- Manage recurring operational deliverables including pipeline reviews, territory and quota reporting, forecast rollups, and executive business reviews
- Document data definitions, system dependencies, and standard operating procedures while coordinating testing and change management for process updates
- 3-6 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business analytics, or a related systems-focused role
- Hands-on experience administering or operating within Salesforce and related go-to-market platforms; familiarity with CRM objects, workflows, integrations, and reporting
- Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills, including data validation, joins, pivot tables, lookups, and financial or funnel modeling
- Experience building executive-ready dashboards and KPI reporting in Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, documented processes, and measurable solutions
- Strong cross-functional communication and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across revenue teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, information systems, or a related field; Bonus: experience with dbt, Snowflake, Salesforce Flow, Marketo, HubSpot, Clari, or data integration tools
