Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting
- Lead a team of landscapers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accurate reporting and client communication
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed consistently across job sites to protect team members and clients
- Provide training to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of gardening practices and lawn care techniques
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, construction methods, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with clients or project managers
- Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or training in horticulture, landscape construction, or related fields are a plus
- Valid drivers license
