Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food service management. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain a well-organized kitchen environment while leading a team of cooks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for both daily service and special events.
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
- Engage with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication regarding menu items and special requests.
