Description:Evident Process Heat and Power is a currently hiring a full time Boiler Technician.This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing and the maintenance of commercial/low pressure and high-pressure boilers and all related boiler equipment.Job ResponsibilityHave knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.Monitor boiler operations and maintain required logs.Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.Ability to travel to various job sites.Detailed oriented.Able to work in team environment.Respond effectively to all emergencies.Having a working knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, burners (gas, oil & combination), associated controls & electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems is a PLUS.Familiar with instrumentation and controls is a PLUS.Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Mechanical Knowledge: 1 yearPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Siemens applicationsTroubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)Physical Demands:Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions.
