Dental Sterilization Assistant

As a Sterile Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our surgical equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization protocols will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and help us continue to deliver the highest standard of care.

Duties include:

• Daily cleaning, decontamination, sorting, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment
• Maintains logs/recordkeeping on maintenance care and sterilization load
• Monitors effectiveness of sterilization process
• Prepares and assembles trays, kits and packs
• Rotates, stores and orders supplies as needed
• Assist Hygienist with charting and sterilization of rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred
• An active Washington Dental Assistant registration is REQUIRED
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines
• Experience with X-Ray imaging and software (Denticon) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
