Key Responsibilities
- Champion Medical Quality & Excellence: Oversee clinical standards, develop SOPs, lead morbidity and mortality reviews, and act as a trusted senior resource for complex cases.
- Lead & Advocate for Clinicians: Serve as the primary leader for Quartet's veterinary team, fostering a culture of mutual respect, accountability, teamwork, and well-being.
- Mentor & Develop: Support doctor retention, engagement, and growth through hands-on mentorship, constructive feedback, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Build the Team: Partner with leadership and recruiting to interview, select, onboard, and integrate top-tier veterinary talent.
- Partner in Leadership: Serve as the clinical voice alongside the Hospital Administrator to optimize case flow, doctor staffing, equipment needs, and client care resolutions.
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required; board certification or advanced specialty training is strongly preferred.
- Significant clinical experience in specialty or advanced veterinary practice.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Proven track record of clinical excellence, professional credibility, and mentorship.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- High level of integrity, judgment, and commitment to medical quality and patient care.
