Job Summary
The Staffing Support Manager, Floater, plays a critical role in ensuring continuity of service across the staffing team by providing coverage and support when Staffing Managers are out of office or when additional support is needed.
This role is responsible for maintaining seamless client and doctor communication, supporting scheduling logistics, and stepping in to manage bookings and coverage needs. While the role is primarily support-focused, this individual will also be empowered to make decisions, confirm bookings, and negotiate rates once fully trained.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Step in to support Staffing Managers during out-of-office periods, ensuring uninterrupted service to clients and doctors

Manage and respond to client and doctor communication in a timely and professional manner

Assist with scheduling logistics, including confirming shifts and managing coverage needs

Initiate and manage search efforts for open shifts when coverage is needed

Confirm bookings and negotiating rates within established guidelines

Exercise sound judgment in decision-making while maintaining alignment with company standards

Provide extended coverage support during longer absences (e.g., vacations), with increased ownership of assigned desks

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communication and activity

Partner with client team members and account executives to ensure alignment on coverage needs

Ensure a high level of responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail in all interactions

Support overall team goals with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, or related field
Prior experience in staffing, recruiting, or a similar fast-paced environment preferred

- Coverage successfully filled during Staffing Manager absences
- Timeliness of responses to clients and doctors
- Accuracy and completeness of scheduling and communication
- Ability to maintain seamless continuity of service
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to lift 10–15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to access and navigate organizational facilities.
