What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Curriculum and Instruction position at Evesham Township School District?
- Must hold or be eligible for a valid New Jersey Teaching certificate, as well as a Principal and/or School Administrator's certificate.
- Must have at least five years of teaching experience in a K-8 public school setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in curriculum writing and professional development.
- Must have at least three years of administrative experience, preferably in the area of curriculum and instruction.
- Demonstrated leadership in school improvement, program development, curriculum integration, and application of technology.
- Ability to plan for and effectively communicate expectations to effect horizontal and vertical continuity and articulation of the instructional program of the schools.
- Experience with federal and state grant programs, such as ESEA.
- Must have an understanding of supervising and coordinating State and local assessments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Such alternatives or additions to the above qualifications are allowable as the Board of Education and Superintendent finds appropriate and acceptable.
