What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Everzinc?
POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures equipment is in a safe operating condition by performing daily prechecks.
- Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments and staging / placement of materials within docking area.
- Review the computerized work list for the equipment, must be able to locate available material.
- Prepares inventory, screens and identifies shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and directs shipments to shipping or storage areas.
- May be required to store hazardous materials.
- Operates hand and stationary power tools.
- Use of FIFO inventory management to ensure oldest material is used first.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures required.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
