We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for dogs in our care. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the well-being of the dogs while also delivering excellent customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play areas, and equipment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing basic grooming as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dogs' activities and behaviors
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for both pets and staff.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:
- Dog handling experience with various breeds and temperaments.
- Familiarity with animal care practices, including animal restraint techniques.
- Experience in pet grooming or pet sitting is a plus.
- Customer service experience to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Previous kennel experience or veterinary technician experience is beneficial.
