We are hiring a hands-on Event Installation Lead / Foreman to run crews on tent and event builds across the NYC metro area.

This is not an office job. This is not a stand-around-and-point job. We need a leader who can take control of a site, manage a crew, solve problems fast, and get the job done safely and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Lead crews of 3–12 on installs and breakdowns
- Drive 16'–26' non-CDL box trucks
- Load, unload, and set tents, flooring, staging, lighting, barricades, tables, chairs, and other event equipment
- Read layouts and execute jobs in the field
- Keep crews productive, on schedule, and working safely
- Coordinate with clients, venues, and supervisors
- Handle field issues without constant oversight
What We Need
- Proven crew leadership experience
- Strong work ethic and no problem with physical labor
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving up to a 26-foot box truck
- Ability to lift/carry 75 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to Staten Island
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Good judgment, communication, and accountability
Strong Backgrounds Include
Construction, commercial moving, rigging, stagehand work, scenic construction, carpentry, utilities, landscape construction, warehouse operations, and event production.
Big Plus If You Have
Tent installation experience, supervisory experience, forklift or skid steer experience, OSHA 10/30, or bilingual English/Spanish.
Important
This job includes early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long days during busy season. If you want a predictable 9–5, this is not the job for you.
