Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain floor care through proper use of equipment for polishing, buffing, or deep cleaning carpets and hard floors
- Manage janitorial tasks including waste disposal, restocking supplies, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed
- Assist with outdoor work such as sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor furniture to uphold overall site cleanliness
- Support housekeeping management by following schedules and documenting cleaning activities accurately
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clear Background Information
- Proven experience in cleaning services, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of residential and commercial cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with residents or clients when needed
- Experience with floor care methods such as carpet cleaning or floor polishing is advantageous
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of the property
