As an Events intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful organization and promotion of our 5K race event. Your key responsibilities will include:
Schedule: Flexible, part-time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, M–F)
Location: EveryMind Headquarters, Rockville, MD (with hybrid opportunities)
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with logistics management, including processing and organizing invoices to ensure smooth event operations.
- Coordinating outreach efforts by securing materials and recruiting volunteers to help promote the race.
- Participating in outreach events by providing on-site support as needed.
- Managing cold calls and outreach communications to connect with local organizations and partners.
- Helping build and maintain relationships with community groups to maximize event engagement.

Qualifications

Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Interest in mental health marketing and communications

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders

Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Previous customer service experience preferred. Leadership qualities are desirable

Reliable Transportation; will go to regular outreach events
