EveryMind is hiring a Temporary Coordinator, Diversion Services to join our Homeless and Housing Support Services team. This role is responsible for providing support to the Centralized Intake & Diversion program, including – but not limited to - answering and responding to diversion phone calls, organizing food and supplies, conducting intakes, responding to/forwarding calls from the homeless information line, and taking on a small caseload.
Schedule & Site: 19 hours/week to be performed in the Centralized Intake & Diversion Office at 1301 Piccard Drive. Hours are flexible but should cover at least 3 weekdays between the hours of 8:30-5pm.
Start & End Date: As soon as possible through mid/late August, 2026.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- When in office, sit near phone and answer all calls. Listen to voicemails and follow up accordingly.
- Conduct in-person intakes as needed; coordinate with Intake Specialist to assign cases.
- Organize food and supplies; perform other office-related duties as needed.
- Respond to and/or forward voicemails from the Homeless Information Line.
- Provide diversion services for a small (10 or less) caseload of clients. Coordinate with other diversion specialists to ensure coverage during off hours.
- Enter data in eICM and List, as needed.
- Assist with data collection and quality assurance.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Strong Personal Resilience and Mental Health:
Given the high-stress nature of the role, it is essential that candidates possess a high level of personal resilience and maintain stable mental health. This ensures that they are well-equipped to provide effective support and maintain the professional standards required for client care.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social work discipline.
Experience:
At least one year of experience in providing services to low-income, homeless, psychiatric, substance involved, or co- occurring adults.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to organize and prioritize. Experience with Microsoft Office platforms, Electronic Health systems and accurate data entry skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Abilities:
Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including CEO, board members, clients and family members or caretakers, interns, volunteers, paid staff, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines.

Due to the nature of the content that is handled in the program, anyone who has a history of trauma or suicidality could be at risk of being triggered or re-traumatized. This is especially true for people who have experienced these issues within the past 12 months and therefore we may not recommend this work if their experience is so recent.
Clearance Requirements:
The employee must pass a criminal background check. Certain job functions may require employee to pass a child sexual abuse and other criminal activity as well as a credit check. All staff providing services to staff or clients, must be free of illegal drugs and abuse of alcohol, and must be fully able to always perform all required duties.

The employee must be available to perform the duties of the job during most, but not limited to core business hours (between 9-5pm, M-F), some flexibility with schedule may be available (evening and/or weekend hours). Employees will work mostly on-site but may work some hours remotely with the approval of supervisor.
Due to confidentiality and the amount of travel to client locations, the employee must possess a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
