Kitting Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitting Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you are passionate about making a difference and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and job routers to identify required components.
• Accurately collect and kit parts according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability inside of Plex.
• Analyze any discrepancies found in inventory and make appropriate adjustments
• Label, bag, and package kits for delivery to appropriate departments or workstations.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure inventory integrity.
• Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues to purchasing manager.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counting, and stock replenishment as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed
• Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production deadlines.
• Work in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience using an ERP system (Preferably Plex)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or inventory environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn
• Team player
• Ability to drive Tow Motor
• Good administrative skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
