Performance Designer

Everyday Dose
Washington, DC Temporary
POSTED ON 1/14/2026

Coffee is “wakeup technology” that has not materially improved in 1,500 years. We are changing that. 50% of Americans have a gene variant that makes metabolizing caffeine difficult, causing jitters, bloating, and stomach problems. Most people shrug their shoulders and say, “Welp, that’s coffee.” Instead of shoulder shrugging, we’ve developed a priority blend of coffee, functional mushrooms, collagen protein, and nootropics to promote focus, energy, immunity, and gut health. No crash. No B.S. We’ve served 300,000 customers in the past 3 years. There are 150,000,000 coffee drinkers left. We’re less than 1% done. Come join us for the remaining 99%.

About The Role

We're seeking a Senior Performance Designer to own and elevate our direct response creative across Meta, Google and Amazon. This role is ideal for a creative who knows what makes an ad convert, understands the nuances of paid social design, and loves bringing performance data into the design process. You'll lead the development of high-performing static and motion ads while helping manage a small but mighty team of designers. This role is both strategic and hand on in shaping our creative direction.

Requirements

  • Own design execution across all paid media channels (Meta, Google, Amazon) with a focus on conversion-driven creative.
  • Create static ads, thumbnails, banners, motion graphics, and visual toolkits that stop on consumers in their tracks
  • Partner with our Creative Strategist team to translate messaging into compelling visual executions that drive results
  • Drive creative testing strategy, developing design iterations based on performance data and insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, UGC, and Brand teams to support launches, sprints, and seasonal campaigns

Approach to the role

  • Thinks strategically while executing tactically - balances big picture creative vision with hands on design work
  • Builds scalable systems - creates repeatable processes and visual frameworks that work across platforms
  • Stays agile and responsive - quickly adapts creative direction based on performance insights and market trends
  • Maintains quality standards - ensures every piece of creative meets both brand and performance expectations

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in design for DTC brands (CPG, beverage or wellness preferred), with at least 2 years in a performance driven creative role
  • Understands UGC formats and how to design content around them
  • Shows comfort working across both brand-aligned and direct response creative formats
  • Brings a proven track record of designing high-performing ads across Meta, Google and Amazon (Must provide portfolio)
  • Possesses strong design toolkit skills: Figma, Photoshop, Canva
  • Shows deep understanding of creative testing frameworks and ad optimization methodologies
  • Exhibits strong communication, project management, and team collaboration skills.

Bonus Points

  • You love iterating and optimizing creative based on data, not just vibes
  • You have a pulse on what's working in DTC, TikTok, and Meta paid media
  • You know how to lead a team while staying hands-on yourself
  • You are obsessed with scroll-stopping visuals, strong hooks, and direct response psychology

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary Performance-Based Bonuses → Your work directly impacts revenue - we reward that.
  • Fully Remote Role → Work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Comprehensive Health & Dental Insurance → We care about your well-being.
  • Professional Development Stipend → We invest in your growth.
  • Creative Freedom & Fast-Paced Growth → Your ideas matter, and you’ll see the impact of your work daily.
  • A Mission-Driven Brand → Help shape the future of coffee and functional wellness.
