Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Kayak Tour Guides and Snorkel Guides to lead our guests on exciting paddling adventures. This position offers the opportunity to share your passion for the outdoors, showcase your leadership skills, and create memorable experiences for visitors of all backgrounds. Duties
- Lead guided kayak tours through scenic ecological reserves, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants
- Provide engaging educational commentary about local wildlife, ecology, and history during tours
- Assist guests with kayak equipment setup, safety instructions, and paddling techniques
- Maintain safety protocols by monitoring weather conditions and guest behavior throughout the tour
- Foster a welcoming environment by communicating clearly and building rapport with diverse groups
- Manage time effectively to ensure tours start and end on schedule
- Support promotional efforts by sharing your passion for outdoor adventure with guests
Experience
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding groups or leading outdoor activities
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills to educate and entertain guests
- Customer service experience with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in dynamic outdoor settings
- Teaching or coaching background is a plus for sharing knowledge confidently
- Passion for outdoor activities, environmental conservation, and creating memorable guest experiences
Pay: $17.75 per hour
