What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurse Midwife position at Every Woman's Ob Gyn?
Every Woman's Ob gyn practice is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our group. CNM must have at least 2 years experience and be a highly skilled specialist who is passionate about women's healthcare and well being.
Certified Nurse Midwife Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
- Documentation of care accordingly
- Performing a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams
- Ability to do contraceptive counseling and procedures is a plus
- Accurately recording patient medical histories.
- Educating patients about disease prevention and detection, and reproductive health.
- Collaborating with other medical and non-medical personnel.
CNM Requirements:
- Board certification as a Nurse Midwife and current Georgia state license.
- Experience practicing as a Nurse Midwife in a private OB/Gyn practice setting
- Expert diagnostic skills.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
