What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Specialist M/S position at Every Special Child?
Every Special Child is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for the remaining School Year 2025-26 to join our school in La Mesa, California
We have the following requirement:
Full time SPED Teacher requirements for any preferred age group students.
Job Responsibilities:
-You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
-Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
-You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
-Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
-Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
-Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
-Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
-Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
-Collaborate with the support staff
-All other duties related to the program.
Requirements:
- Valid CA state SPED Teacher License
- 2 years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.
