Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide direct instruction and intervention services to students with disabilities or developmental delays
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with children with disabilities, developmental delays, or special needs
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach to education
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours as needed
