Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian Staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning protocols, and contributes to the overall appearance and functionality of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, gowning area, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Keep parking lot free and clear of debris
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as assigned
- Follow safety procedures, EH&S, food safety, and GMP and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to a supervisor
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists
- Occasionally perform deep cleaning or special projects as needed
- Vacuum, mop, and scrub production floor
- Dust warehouse pallet racks
- Remedial office tasks as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and reliability
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision
- English proficiency preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable using cleaning tools and equipment
Work Schedule
- Part Time: 4 hours per day; up to 24 hours per week
- Day Shift – 1st
- Weekdays, with one Saturday a month
Compensation
- Pay range: $20–$22 per hour
