What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door-to-Door Canvasser position at EverValley LLC?
We are a privately owned window and roofing company serving Jacksonville, NC and surrounding areas. We replace roofs and windows for homeowners who want quality work at a fair price, and we're growing. We're looking for friendly, motivated people to start conversations in the neighborhoods we serve.
You'll knock on doors in assigned neighborhoods, talk with homeowners about their roofs and windows, and set appointments for your sales rep to provide free estimates on full replacements. You don't close deals or handle pricing. Your job is to start the conversation and book the appointment, our sales rep handles the rest!
Job Expectations
- Knock on doors in targeted neighborhoods, especially after storms or in areas with aging roofs and windows.
- Introduce yourself and the company and identify homeowners who may need a roof or window replacement
- Set qualified appointments for our sales team
- Log every contact, appointment, and follow-up in our CRM or canvassing app
- Work toward daily and weekly appointment goals
- Represent the company professionally in every neighborhood
- Communicate directly with your Project Manager for appointments
What We're Looking For
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable talking to strangers
- Resilient, with the ability to hear "no" and keep going
- Reliable, punctual, and coachable
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors for several hours in all weather
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Able to pass a background check
- Door-to-door sales, canvassing, or home services experience preferred. Training is available.
Compensation
- Base pay: $10/hour
- $10 for every appointment you set
- $150 for every appointment that results in a sale
- Uncapped earning potential. The more appointments you set and the more that close, the more you earn!

Schedule
Flexible part-time schedule. Evenings and weekends are the best time to reach homeowners, so some evening availability is required.
