Location: 3710 S. Lenoir St, Columbia, MO 65201
Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

Summary

We are looking for a Part-Time Caregiver to work 3:00 PM–8:00 PM at Lenoir Woods in Columbia, MO. This position provides compassionate, hands-on care and support to older adults, including assistance with daily activities, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and other needs that help clients remain safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, exercise, and ambulation
• Provide household support such as making beds, personal laundry, ironing, and light housekeeping
• Prepare meals based on the client's needs and preferences
• Communicate changes in a client's physical or emotional condition to the appropriate nursing or office staff
• Accompany clients to doctor appointments when needed
• Assist with shopping and errands
• Remind clients to take medications as directed
• Communicate availability and scheduling needs with office staff
• Complete required paperwork and documentation
• Document tasks and services provided in the client's home
• Provide respectful, compassionate care while supporting each client's independence and dignity

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with older adults preferred
• At least 6 months of experience in private duty, home care, long-term care, or a similar caregiving setting
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes and/or EverTrue communities as needed
• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with the care team

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

The physical requirements of this position include regularly standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, and communicating with clients and coworkers. The position may also require sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and assisting clients with mobility and activities of daily living.

This position may require travel within the community and exposure to varying weather conditions and environments.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $15.00–$23.30 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

Evening Shift Differential: $1.50/hour
