Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Funeral Director, located in Raleigh, NC. The Funeral Home Manager will lead all aspects of funeral services, including meeting with families, coordinating with staff, handling preparations, and leading funeral ceremonies. The role involves providing emotional support to grieving families, offering guidance on memorial options, and ensuring that all services are carried out with dignity and respect. The Funeral Home Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and run the day to day operations.
Qualifications
- Funeral Service or Mortuary Science educational background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing emotional support and guidance
- Organizational skills to manage service logistics and compliance
- Attention to detail in handling all aspects of funeral service preparations
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC
- Relevant certifications and licensures as required by state law
- Experience in the funeral service industry is a plus
