What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Analyst (Hybrid) position at EVERSOURCE?
Individual will perform a wide variety of assignments and tasks relative to vehicle fleet asset management including replacement planning, standardization, ordering, tracking, budgeting, life cycle costing, disposition and reporting for the Operating Companies; support of fleet management systems and processes e.g. FleetWave, GPS, Driver Qualification, fuel, registration, insurance; various fleet management assignments; participation in projects, planning and the design and development of tracking methods for capital projecting and forecasting. Other duties include vehicle order tracking and price estimating/accounting; data extracts and analysis from various Eversource systems; KPI/Performance Metric tracking and reporting; and various assignments overseeing fleet systems and processes.
Essential Functions:
Oversees the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Eversource vehicle fleet
Coordinates the development of performance metrics and tracking methods
Performs analyses of vehicle fleet information and provides recommendations for improvement
Supports the department goals and KPIs
Handles and communicates specific operating/performance issues
Develops, monitors and inputs vehicle capital budgets
Performs analysis of various vehicle information
Supports processes and systems used to order fleet vehicles
Provides fleet vehicle budgeting guidance as needed
Works effectively with all levels of management in order to provide financial and operational analysis and problem-solving recommendations
Achieves and influences results through others, both those internal and external to the Transportation organization
Builds and maintains networks of key contacts across the organization facilitating organizational efficiencies
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Experience
Strong knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability in all areas of financial reporting, analyses and cost management.
Strong knowledge and experience with the capital and expense budgeting process.
Strong knowledge and experience with the non-financial operations of fleet operations.
Proficiency with PCs and mainframe computer applications (similar to Eversource corporate financial reporting and planning systems, QMF/SQL querying, MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); expertise in Excel is required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
