School Nurse RN All NYC Boroughs

Position Overview:

We are looking for skilled and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide full time, part time, and per diem coverage in NYC public schools across all five boroughs for the upcoming school year. This is an independent contractor role an excellent opportunity to contribute to student well-being in a school-based environment.

Compensation:

$40 - $45 per hour (1099 Contractor Role)

• Deliver general nursing services during the school day across NYC public schools
• Administer prescribed medications and provide basic first aid care
• Monitor students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies
• Respond promptly to health-related incidents and emergencies
• Maintain required documentation and student health records in line with NYC DOE and NYS guidelines
• Coordinate with parents, faculty, and school personnel to support students' health needs
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Active RN license issued by the State of New York
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Previous experience in pediatric care, school nursing, or community health is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment and strong interpersonal skills
