Duties
As a Construction Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe working environment.
- Carrying out tasks such as digging, loading and unloading materials, and operating basic hand tools.
- Learning on the job tasks, including carpentry, roofing, new builds, and remodeling.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Experience
While prior experience in construction is beneficial, it is not required. We welcome candidates who demonstrate:
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the construction field.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 pounds).
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
